On October 23, 2019, during the TOL Expo held in Milan, a session was dedicated to the use of options as tools for both investment strategy and market analysis.
The presentation focused on the Idem Option Tool, available on the Borsa Italiana website, illustrating how investors can use it to build options strategies tailored to different market scenarios. Particular attention was given to the information embedded in options prices and, more specifically, to the role of implied volatility as an indicator for understanding and anticipating changes in market volatility.
