On October 1st, 2020, Cube Finance hosted a webinar dedicated to External Asset Managers (EAMs) and their operational teams, focusing on the FIX protocol and its growing adoption within the asset management industry.
During the session, participants were introduced to the main characteristics of the FIX protocol, originally designed for institutional and interbank trading activities and now increasingly used by asset managers. The webinar highlighted how many custodian banks are encouraging independent and external asset managers to adopt FIX for order transmission between banks and EAMs.
Cube Finance presented the advantages and benefits of the protocol, discussing its practical implications for day-to-day operations and providing an overview of its FIX-compliant software solution.
