Cube Platform: Highlights of the Latest Release

The latest release of Cube Platform introduces a series of enhancements designed to improve usability, strengthen security, and provide investment professionals with more immediate access to critical information.

One of the key additions is Windows Authentication, which allows users to access the application without manually entering a username and password. By integrating with Active Directory, the system automatically recognizes Windows users and grants access based on predefined domain groups, simplifying authentication while maintaining enterprise-grade security standards.

The Dashboard has also been enhanced to provide a more intuitive and customizable overview of portfolio activity. Users can display multiple widgets on a single screen, with each tile dedicated to a specific area of interest. This flexible layout offers an immediate and concise view of the current status of a portfolio, helping users focus on the information that matters most.

Another important feature is the introduction of real-time visual notifications. The platform can generate alerts based on predefined events, displayed through an intuitive horizontal slider. These notifications can be used, for example, to highlight intraday breaches of operational limits, newly entered orders, or compliance checks requiring immediate attention.

The release also includes the new Hedge Finder functionality. This module automatically identifies potential trades aimed at reshaping portfolio risks according to selected parameters and constraints, such as initial margin requirements, delta exposure, or Value at Risk (VaR) exposure. The objective is to support portfolio managers in evaluating hedging opportunities more efficiently and consistently.

Finally, the VaR module has been expanded with manual proxy management capabilities. Users can now define proxies at different levels, including individual instruments, underlyings, and underlying types, offering greater flexibility in risk modelling and analysis.

Together, these enhancements further strengthen Cube Platform’s ability to support portfolio management, risk analysis, and compliance activities within a single integrated environment.
